Design Policy
• Ownership of Designs:
All designs created by BeardyCurls are our intellectual property, including original designs or those replicated from photos supplied by the customer, business, or organization. Any PDF/design files supplied by the customer, business, or organization remain their property, and by providing these files, you grant BeardyCurls the right to use them to fulfill your order.
• Usage Rights:
BeardyCurls reserves the right to share any and all designs we create. We are not obligated to share the design files with the customer, business, or organization after the product has been made.
• Design Requests:
If a customer, business, or organization requests that a design created by BeardyCurls be handed over, deleted, or not shared with anyone else, BeardyCurls reserves the right to:
• Withhold the design from all parties.
• Sell the design to the original customer, business, or organization.
• Delete the design upon request of the original customer, business, or organization.
Lead Time/Turnaround Times
Our lead times are stated in every listing. For our standard six-week lead time, please note that this may vary depending on our current workload and the complexity of your order. We strive to meet these timelines but cannot guarantee them in every case.
Compliance with New Zealand Consumer Law
BeardyCurls is committed to complying with all relevant New Zealand consumer laws, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and the Fair Trading Act 1986 (FTA).
• Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA):
Under the CGA, our products come with guarantees that they will be of acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and match their descriptions. If our products fail to meet these guarantees, you are entitled to a remedy, which may include a repair, replacement, or refund, as appropriate. Given the customized nature of our products, returns and exchanges are generally not possible if you change your mind. However, if the product is faulty or does not meet the consumer guarantees under the CGA, please contact us to discuss a suitable remedy.

If you believe your product is faulty or does not meet the consumer guarantees, please contact us within a reasonable time frame. We may require proof of purchase and photographs of the issue to assess your claim.

If a product is found to be faulty due to a manufacturing defect, we will assess and provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances.
However, if an issue arises, the customer must contact us first and allow us the opportunity to assess and remedy the fault. If a customer chooses to have the product repaired by a third party without our prior consent, we are not liable for any associated costs. Additionally, any modifications or repairs carried out by a third party will void any guarantees or warranties, as the product has been altered outside of our control.
