At BeardyCurls, we are makers, designers, and creators who blend modern technology with craftsmanship to bring unique and meaningful pieces to life. While some may assume our work falls under whakairo (traditional Māori carving), we want to clarify that our process is different—we do not carve wood or stone by hand as whakairo practitioners do.

Instead, we harness the power of CNC machines, CNC lasers, and digital design tools to achieve precision and consistency in our work. Every design is carefully crafted by our team, ensuring that each piece is thoughtfully designed, expertly cut, and finished by hand in our workshop. This allows us to produce intricate details and high-quality finishes while maintaining the integrity of each design.

Our mahi is about custom craftsmanship, innovation, and storytelling—creating pieces that hold significance, whether for individuals, businesses, or organizations. Each product is made with care, ensuring it reflects the kaupapa (purpose) and vision of those who commission it.
